Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the EduOS platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between your institution ('The Client') and EduOS ('The Provider'). If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of an educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. License & Access
EduOS grants The Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform solely for internal educational and administrative purposes. The Client is responsible for all activity occurring under their tenant account.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Users strictly agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; (b) use the platform for illegal activities or harassment; (c) attempt to bypass security measures including DRM and device fingerprinting; (d) excessive API usage that degrades performance for others. Violation may result in immediate suspension.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the EduOS platform, including software, designs, and algorithms, remain exclusive property of The Provider. Ideally, The Client retains ownership of all data, content, and student records uploaded to the platform.
5. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We commit to a 99.9% uptime Service Level Objective (SLO). In the event of significant downtime, credits may be applied to future billing cycles. Scheduled maintenance implies a 24-hour advance notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by The Client during the 12 months prior to the claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, EduOS will provide a 60-day grace period for data export before permanently deleting tenant data.
